one of the only free lands undamaged by the wars, solum is the only place that unclaimed equine may come without expecting damage. a popular hang out for free enmity, solum is a quaint meadow that outstretches broadly to either side. its western section dwindles into a sandy white beach, where the tide is soft and cool, while the northeastern side winds back toward the shores with heavy black rocks that form a cliff side near the shore. there are several nooks and crannies to be discovered in solum, which covers a good section of the free lands of catharsis.

ironic is it that orsus, the land of life, is located within the same forest as carus, which takes so many beings from the earth. orsus is a thick area of the forest where lovers may come to create another life.

for centuries, the river ignis has been signified as the birthing grounds of catharsis. it is a plain meadow, laced with thick evergreens. as its name suggests, a stout, unrelenting river curves its way throughout the small meadow, its force unlike many seen within catharsis. it is the river of fire to many mares, as foals who are stillborn, or die shortly after birth, are often tossed to the river's frothy embrace.

not to be confused with the colosseum, carus is the land where the regular power struggles of gang fights take place. it is a heavy, wooded area, where clearings are few and far between and fights are generally difficult to sustain. the thick trunks of trees are experts at hindering attempts to attack, and weaving through the massive timber in carus is a feat very few can successfully accomplish. gang fights take place here.

a dusty, ancient field filled with swaying, dying grass, the graveyard has been dubbed rightfully. it is a somber place, filled to the brim with death. it is nearly never sunny hear, and is veiled within an ever-constant blanket of thick, gray fog. horses who are not slain in the colosseum come here to die.
